Which wallets work?
Any browser extension announcing itself via EIP-6963 (MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet and others), plus WalletConnect for mobile wallets. Connecting signs nothing.
Do I need a token to launch?
No. There is no launch token and nothing is burned. You pay gas and make an opening buy of your own frequency in the same transaction.
What does a launch create?
One transaction deploys your frequency's token (1,000,000,000, fixed supply), opens its pool against WETH with the whole supply locked in it, registers the specification, provenance and listenability hashes in the escrow, and makes your first buy.
Do I own the sound a frequency produces?
Not the continuous output. A Release, a bounded tick range with a documented edit log published under a name, is the part that may be independently protectable.
Can I verify a frequency without Pitch?
Yes. The specification, seed, step-function commit and checkpoint hashes are all published. Replay is free and open; you can re-run the whole process yourself.
Where do trading fees go?
Every trade pays 2%. Half goes to the Pitch platform, half to the frequency, split 70 / 25 / 5.

How does Scream work?
You scream up to five seconds. Your browser measures the voice into a fingerprint that seeds the system and its bounds, and your actual recording is published with the coin, its hash fixed on-chain. That recording is what the coin sounds like: price bends its pitch, volume swells it, liquidity makes it echo.
Who runs the ticks?
Anyone. tick is permissionless once the interval has passed, and it pays the caller the keeper fee c_k declared at launch. A frequency keeps running even if its creator walks away, as long as its escrow is funded.
What happens when a runtime escrow empties?
The frequency stalls. Ticks stop, the state is preserved at the last checkpoint, and the record stays replayable. Anyone can top the escrow up; it resumes once the balance reaches h times the cost of a tick.
Why is provenance mandatory?
Because the distinction between sourced material and the creator's own choices is what makes a claim of authorship meaningful. Launches without it are refused.
